As we have witnessed over the last few days, a new fringe political party has emerged in this country. It could be called the CHUMP Party. Members of the Chump Party are required to be foolish and easily deceived. Those looking to join the party who are not lucky enough to own a Congressional seat, like George Santos, may join at various levels including Sucker, Sap, Gullible and Gaslighter. Beware, the dues are quite high to support the enormous legal fees members may encounter. The Chump Party values reflect the ethical theory of consequentialism. According to this theory, the end justifies the meansin all circumstances. In other words, it is not morally necessary to recognize others and it is acceptable to lie and cheat to get what they want.
Those easily manipulated and those with mental unrest are encouraged to join the Chump Party. Multi-gun ownership and ammo hoarding is highly advocated and the longer the gun the better. Understanding or reading of the Constitution is, well, optional and certainly not required and is actually frowned upon. For knowledge is not power. The symbol of the Chump Party is the Hammer. The hammer represents might and force and revenge. The hammer symbol may be paired with an anvil flattening the opposition between the two objects. Members of the Chump Party must vow to do whatever they can to get the results they want even if others may get hurt in the process. The Party is meaner, smarter, and more organized than most. It collects more money, using the rich, overindulged, and social media to do so. It recruits the young and the old and the angry.
