Sometimes, we run across facts that are too good to be true, too real not to note, too relevant or humorous to pass up. We have found one and are eager to share it with you.
If you live near the shore or have ever visited the beach, you are probably quite aware of jellyfish. Jellyfish are scary creatures that you might find interesting but never want to encounter. You are probably wondering why jellyfish? One would have never guessed but we have made a giant discovery regarding Donald Trump and jellyfish. We cannot pass up the opportunity to share this with you.
To follow along, you will need to call on your imagination. Let us start with jellyfish, and, while describing their characteristics, please be thinking of Trump. You might find it hard to determine at some point if we are describing jellyfish or Trump since they have so much in common. In fact, most of their characteristics are shared.
First, jellyfish are not really fish like Trump is not really a politician but a cult leader. Both beings are spineless and sting their prey. They drift with the current, have no backbone and no brains, and they can clone themselves.
The stinging element that they share can be painful to humans and sometimes extremely dangerous and can occur when you get too close. They digest food quickly and are luminescent, sometimes yellow or orange. They behave badly, eat too much, sting, paralyze, asphyxiate, and kill their prey. The Portuguese Man O’War jellyfish is an excellent example.
The jellyfish community has been recently observed as growing in astonishing numbers and have been noted as “Jellyfish Gone Wild.” The news media has called jellyfish, “Lord of the Drifters” and described them as “jellyfish typhoon, the rise in slime and spineless menace.” Jellyfish have been known to shut down nuclear power plants and have disabled a USS aircraft carrier by clogging up its equipment.
At this point, if your interest is peeked, we are sure that you can visualize the similarities as jellyfish and Trump are both rubbery, bell shaped, boneless, bloodless creatures. Additionally, with jellyfish, if parts are bitten off by prey, they regenerate. Clearly, a human feature adapted by cult leaders.
As we all know, Jellyfish have long tentacles as does Trump. His long tentacles have names such as MT Greene, Graham, McCarthy, Cruz, Gaetz, Hawley, Jordan, and McConnell. These are all an extension of the man himself and share the same sort of lack of decency and double standard DNA. Over the years, Trump has drifted in and out with the tide. He is a grifter who takes advantage of many to benefit a few, mainly himself. Yes, we find him barely human as was his defense this week in the Senate Impeachment Trial.
While it is not kind to make fun of jellyfish, we do not mind doing so with Trump. When one person and his tentacles make such a mess of a deadly pandemic, cause so much destruction and pain, attempt to dismantle democracy, and prey on social justice, we have no problem comparing him and his tentacles to spineless jellyfish. Again this week, we witnessed cowardly Republican followers refusing to acknowledge the damage their actions have had on our Capitol, its employees, and our Democracy. During the impeachment trial, some sat with feet up like 13-year-olds in the back of a movie theater. They acted distracted, drawing, checking their phones, and lowering their heads as the videos of January 6th was played. We know and they know that they are part of those who instigated the right-wing insurrection. Shame. Shame on them. And in defense, Trump claims that he has the First Amendment right to summons a riot, to do damage, and to kill. This defense is as vile as is he. The truth be told, we would rather swim with a jellyfish than with Trump.
At minimum, Biden needs to remove the unhinged Trump from receiving daily security briefings. That would be a step in disarming one domestic terrorist. Although it is a longshot, we can only hope that the decent leaders of this country follow section 3 of the 14th Amendment and impeach Trump on engagement of an insurrection.
Fourteenth Amendment
- Section 3
