Meet Andrea and Maggie
Andrea F. Andrus
GAL 4 PEACE
Andrea was born and raised in New England and, from an early age, developed an understanding of the importance of respecting and contributing to those in need. She organized fundraising events to help disadvantaged children and the American Red Cross. Her volunteer work and political activism continued into her college years during which she was named to Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Andrea went on to become a Fortune 500 Company Executive and lived and worked in a number of cities across the U.S. She later worked as a Director at a large New England teaching hospital leading its quality and safety department. Andrea has served on a number of nonprofit Boards and has received a number of recognitions for her professional and volunteer work. She has never forgotten the significance of her early volunteer years. Through 2 GALS 4 PEACE, she continues to support and work with a number of organizations to help bring peace and social justice to our world.
